Anderacha Origin - Forest Climate and Flavour Profile

Anderacha sits in the humid southwestern highlands of Ethiopia, where high annual rainfall, cool temperatures, and dense vegetation create ideal conditions for slow, even cherry development. This environment reduces moisture stress on the coffee plant, supporting uniform bean formation and low flavour volatility. Cultivation is primarily smallholder-based, often grown under natural shade with minimal agricultural intensification, encouraging soft sweetness and stable bean structure over aggressive acidity or heavy fermentation character. In the cup, Anderacha delivers gentle sweetness, soft cocoa and herbal undertones, low perceived acidity, and a smooth, rounded finish. A balance and drinkability-focused profile, well suited for consistent daily service and reliable wholesale programs.
